Our additional store warranty
Battery health of pre-owned phones at supply
CPA statutory remedy period
Our 12-month warranty adds confidence. It never replaces or reduces the separate remedies the Consumer Protection Act gives you.
01What the warranty covers
Every product purchased from Price Bash includes a 12-month Price Bash warranty from the date of delivery. It covers defects in materials, workmanship or functionality that arise during normal intended use and are not caused by an excluded event.
Coverage applies to both new and pre-owned products. Some products may also have separate manufacturer warranties; those are additional where applicable and do not diminish your rights against Price Bash.
02Pre-owned phone quality promise
All pre-owned phones are supplied with at least 80% battery health at delivery and the disclosed cosmetic grade. This is a minimum condition at supply, not a promise that battery capacity will remain above 80% throughout the next 12 months; normal battery ageing is expected.
If the battery was below the promised minimum at supply, please notify us. We will honour the guarantee and all applicable statutory remedies. A disclosure of pre-owned condition does not excuse undisclosed defects or waive your consumer rights.
03Making a warranty claim
Reply to the order-confirmation email with your order number, product name, a description of the fault and supporting photographs or video where useful. We may ask for the product's serial number or IMEI to verify the item.
We will provide safe return instructions. For qualifying CPA defect claims in the first six months, the supplier bears the return risk and expense as required by section 56. For other claims covered by our store warranty, return arrangements will be explained before dispatch.
04Repair, replacement or refund
Within the CPA's first six months, the statutory choice of repair, replacement or refund for qualifying defective goods belongs to the consumer. Our internal assessment is not a substitute for that right.
For a covered warranty claim after that period, Price Bash will arrange a suitable remedy, normally a repair or replacement. If neither can reasonably resolve the covered defect, we will offer an appropriate refund or other remedy consistent with the warranty and applicable law.
Where CPA section 56(3) applies to a failed repair, its replacement/refund remedy remains available.
05What is not an inherent product defect
The warranty does not cover damage caused after delivery by accidental impact, liquid exposure, misuse, improper power supply, unauthorised modifications causing the fault, or normal cosmetic wear. Battery ageing during ordinary use is not by itself proof of a fault.
We do not automatically void an otherwise valid claim because a product was inspected or repaired by a third party; the relevance of such work to the claimed failure matters. Mandatory consumer rights are never excluded by this section.
06Before sending a device
Back up your personal information and sign out of iCloud, Google, Samsung or other linked accounts. Disable device-location or activation-lock features so inspection can take place. Remove SIM and memory cards. Do not send passwords or banking details.
We handle returned-device information under our Privacy Policy.
07Your statutory rights
CPA sections 55–56 provide a separate implied warranty and consumer remedies. Our commercial warranty is additional and not a substitute. Read Returns & Refunds for the available cancellation and defect remedies.
